• Started the day with a sleep in, which at the cost of the hotel meant it was probably the most expensive couple of hours sleep I’ve ever had. • Then for the first time in our lives, we used a laundromat! Talk about a cross section of society… from the rich and famous like…

• Started the day on a high – leaving Las Vegas • Took a ~3 hour bus ride to the Grand Canyon via a brief stop and photo op at Hoover Dam (where they literally do a security check of the bus to make sure noones carrying luggage big enough to blow up the place…

• Started the day with a trip to the LA Holocaust Museum. As always, a very sad part of history and the fact it was allowed to occur is just mind blowing. Then you read how the nazification of Germany played out and there’s so many parallels to the way certain situations have played out…

• Did a “Stars Of Hollywood” tour, mostly because it was the only half day bus tour I could find that actually went to a decent number of locations. We did the classic walk of fame (pretty lame to be honest, it’s 18 city blocks of essentially stepping stones) and got harassed by poorly dressed…

Up early in the morning for our first full day of America! Our first stop was coffee, of course. We got Starbucks with our name on the cup so we’d fit in. I got one with olive oil(!!!) added and it didn’t taste quite as weird as you are probably thinking. I don’t know why…
